Dance in the Time of COVID

At time of writing, face to face teaching has so far been suspended for ten weeks. I have never in my adult life gone that long without teaching a class! I have still been doing some online training (wedding dance lessons and professional IDTA Associate training is available one-to-one via Skype, contact me for information) and I made some offline videos for my existing students to rehearse with at home, but it’s obviously not the same.

However the break from teaching has given me the opportunity to reorganise my online presence, which I am in the process of doing, so there’s a new wedding dance site at http://weddings.dted.co.uk and this new homepage and blog to replace the ancient website I’ve had for years.

From the homepage you can link straight through to my dedicated sites for professional IDTA dance teacher training and also the wedding dance one mentioned above. Here, I plan over time to reflect on some of the achievements of recent years and, as things (hopefully soon) begin to return to normal, outline some of the new projects that will be coming up.

I’m new to blogging so it will no doubt be a bit basic at first and there are no comments as I can’t guarantee I’ll always be around to moderate them but if you’d like to get in touch please email emma@dted.co.uk and I’ll help if I can. Stay well!
